Adventure Activity Levels Defined
Activity level:
Easy
Participants should be in reasonable physical condition for ‘Easy’ Asheville Adventure Company Tours.
eBike: eBikes offer assistance riding but do require that you pedal. Participants should have some experience riding and be comfortable in the saddle. Your trip may be on a variety of surfaces including paved and gravel bike paths, city streets with vehicle traffic, unpaved forest service roads, and wide dirt trails. An eBike will ‘flatten’ the hills for a true “easy active” experience. Helmets are provided and must be worn on all tours.
Paddling: Easy paddling trips are either in large 6 person rafts or an inflatable one-man kayak called a “Ducky”. Participants MUST be able to swim and be comfortable on moving water. Your tour will include mostly class II rapids, but depending on river levels there may be some class III.
