Every tour we offer is a guided tour vs. equipment rental. Asheville Adventure Company is an experiential company, and we’ve trained our guides to ensure every group has a fantastic time. Every tour gets customized based on the group’s interests, and we’ve hand-picked hikes, bike routes & paddling routes that we know you’ll love.

As an outdoor adventure company, we stay pretty glued to the expected weather. As a city in a subtropical highland climate, we have lovely weather throughout the summer. However, we also generally have light rainstorms on a pretty regular basis. 

We are 100% committed to the safety & comfort of our guests. If we have any concerns that weather will make a trip either dangerous or just plain miserable, we’ll issue a 100% refund and work hard to allow you to reschedule while still on your journey.

We request 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your reservation. However, if you are having any concerns about keeping your reservation, please let us know sooner or later to talk through options.

Regardless of which trip you are on, keep in mind that the weather in Asheville can change quickly and the forecasts can be somewhat unreliable at times, so please bring extra layers or rain gear on any trip.

We do have some parking available; however, we strongly recommend groups carpool together if possible. Additionally, for groups that will be enjoying alcoholic beverages, Uber and LYFT are great options here in Asheville.

Absolutely! If you are coordinating for a group, give us a call. That way, we can talk through options and accommodate any details / special requests so that your group has the best experience possible. 

The health and safety of our guests are our top priority. Luckily our adventures are all outdoors, which allows for social distancing. Additionally, we regularly wipe down and disinfect our equipment. We also ask that any guest experiencing COVID-like symptoms opt out of doing adventures with us until they feel better.
