SUMMER CAMPS

SUMMER CAMP ADVENTURES IN ASHEVILLE

Well-Run Trips That Campers Remember and Camp Leaders Can Count On.

When you’re running a summer camp, you’re trusting us with the kids in your care, your camp’s reputation, and an experience that needs to go right every time. Asheville Adventure Company has worked with camp programs on the French Broad River, and we know what camp leaders need: reliable trips, smooth coordination, and adventures campers are still talking about on the ride home.

Recommended Adventures for Summer Camps

We’ll match your camp to the right adventure based on camper ages, abilities, and program goals. Whether you need a one-time outing or are thinking about recurring programming throughout the summer, we can work with you on scheduling and group rates.

French Broad Section 9 Whitewater Rafting is the most popular choice for older camper groups: Class II-III rapids, certified guides, Swiftwater Rescue trained, and about four hours from launch to takeout. A full experience without a full day commitment.

Asheville Tubing Adventure is perfect for younger campers or mixed-age groups who want time on the river without the intensity. Social, laid-back, and easy to manage as a group.

Kayaking by the Biltmore builds independent water skills in a more self-directed format; a great option for older campers ready for a different kind of challenge.

Not sure which fits your program? Tell us your camper ages and what you’re hoping to accomplish, and we’ll help you figure out the right combination.

Pricing & Logistics for Summer Camps

Camp pricing is based on activity type, group size, and date. We offer group rates for larger groups and are happy to discuss recurring trip scheduling for camps that want regular programming throughout the summer.

Our Outpost is centrally located in Asheville with easy bus parking and a shuttle that handles transportation to and from the river. Arrival is streamlined: check-in is straightforward, gear is organized, and everyone is on the water without a lot of standing around.

What Camp Directors Have Said

We brought our camp group here and it was one of the smoothest group outings we've run. The guides were experienced with youth groups, the coordination was easy, and the campers were still buzzing about it on the ride back. We're already planning the next one.
