You show up at the Outpost, get set up with a tube, and float. Trips run Tuesday through Sunday and take about three to four hours, depending on water levels that week.
It’s $30 per person. If you’re bringing a cooler, rent a cooler carrier tube for $10 and keep the whole group stocked. Groups larger than ten get a discount, which matters if you’re planning this for a birthday, a reunion, or a bachelorette weekend where half the fun is doing it together.
Personal flotation devices are required for anyone under 14 and recommended for everyone else. Anything you bring gets wet, so plan accordingly, and bring water (drybags are sold at the Outpost). You’re in direct sun for a few hours, and the river doesn’t care how hydrated you are.
